The Girl formerly known as "Jenni Blonde Hair"
Dec 1, 2008
Last night, I booked a flight to Victoria, BC, Canada to visit my friend Jenni.
[Side note: I used to call her "Jenni Blonde Hair," to differentiate from another girl whom I called "Jenni Brown Hair," but now Jenni Blonde Hair has gone brunette...so I guess she's just Jenni. Or maybe we should call her "Jenni Fab Hair" just because she's fabulous...and she has great hair.]
How in the heck do I know a girl all the way in Victoria? Well, I lived in Israel for a year after I graduated high school. There, I participated in a program called with other high school graduates largely from the US and Canada. And so began the saga of Alana and Jenni...
Almost two years later, we still kept in touch. Now, in less than a month, I'll be reunited with my not-so-blonde friend in beautiful Victoria! I'm extremely excited.
Apparently, Jenni's pretty psyched too, because she's already created a preliminary to-do list.
Here it is:

Alana! Please take me back to Victoria with you...what a fantastic town.
Jenni didn't mention it, but make her take you to the vintage store The Patch. It's one of the best I've seen anywhere in Canada. And Butchart Gardens is a MUST.
Will do! Thanks for the idea...and I would love to bring you with me...I do happen to have a 3 hour layover in Toronto....
Ah, I'll have to see if I'm in town when you're here...
I DONT KNOW HOW I DIDNT PUT THE PATCH ON THAT LIST.
well... probs cuz I didn't put any of the amazing shopping down because it's just a give in that we're going there.....
